iTakeout in Reading

It’s been a busy start to the year for us at iTakeOut. Not only do we have some new features live on the site (get your discounts here) but we also introduced ourselves to a new city. Hello Reading!

Two new restaurants have joined our ranks. Chicken Base; offering a fantastic variety of Kebabs, Burgers, Pizza’s, and, as you might expect, Chicken. Also Mekka Hut; with a distinctively Indian twist on it’s cuisine. If you like a good curry then it’s defiantly worth trying them out.

We will be looking at recruiting some more Reading takeaway’s soon and if you have any suggestions for us then please let us know.

December’s votes have been cast

With the holidays over, we at iTakeOut have been able to tot-up the masses of votes for this months top restaurant award and, after a number of recounts, we are able to announce a winner.

Masses is probably something of an over exaggeration, it seems most of you are unwilling to share with the world what you thought of all that takeaway you are eating, but a winner is what we have all the same. *smile*

This month’s plaudits go to The Bombay Express Balti House, Albert Rd, Portsmouth (The Balti House to it’s friends). It must have been that festive turkey curry that they were serving up that swung the vote.

November was a busy month on the iTakeOut website. Lots of you have been letting us know what you think of the takeaways that you are buying and all the votes have been counted.

The best rated takeaway in November was Curry World in Fratton Rd, Portsmouth. Congratulations to them. They don’t win anything, other than the pride of knowing; they are the best!
